Profit per Period

The Profit per Period report gives the profit or loss made for a selected period of time. The revenue and expenses for the selected period will also be shown.

This report is neither an income statement nor profit and loss statement but rather a pair wise comparison of the performance of the institution in months from the starting month to the end having a grand total of either a profit or loss over the whole.

The report also has an analysis of in percentage form (Indicator) of the institution's profits ability to cover the loss by months.

How to view the Profit per Period report

To view the profit per period report you go to Accounts/Financial Reports/Profit per Period and a screen that looks as follows will appear:

Select any other required additional options or use the default selections. For additional information on these options you can refer to Accounting Report Formats.

Click on the OK button to generate the Income and Expenditure that will look as follows:

Click on the Close button to exit.
